Pours a light gold - completely clear. A large off-white head forms and then quickly dissipates. Light lacing. The aroma is slightly resin-y, but the usual BKS tropical citrus notes make an appearance here. The taste is right in line with what the aroma promised - grapefruit, bitter orange - plus a hint of pine. The mouthfeel is light, and finishes with slight warmth and a light hop bitterness that builds after each drink.
I wish this was just a tad more "West Coast IPA" than it is, but yet again, BKS can churn out extremely drinkable beers in just about any style.

Poured from at a can at fridge temp. Pours a transparent yellow with white head. Good lacing after the head recedes. Very nice looking IPA. Nose has a nice pine resin smell, but also a surprising amount of tropical fruit. I get a lot of mango on the nose. Wheat, orange, sourdough bread, and a bit of candy sweetness.
The taste is incredibly smooth. No crazy hop bite. Well rounded. Lots of nice mango, orange, and pineapple fruit notes. Leather, wheat, honey, grapes, and citrus peel bitterness.
Mouthfeel is fairly light. Overall, an absolutely wonderful IPA.

Pours a copper-honey with a firm haze to it, enough that you can see your fingers on the other side of the glass, but not read through the beer. Aroma is pine, orange zest, light resin, and earthy hops. It's wondrously dry, feeding a little citrus for sweetness, before leaning back into traditional West Coast IPA notes. Flavor profile is orange zest, lemongrass, herbal, piney, and mild resiny hops, pushing sweetness a little more forward than the nose, but receding to balance just the same. Late hops keep this beer drinking with a little bite, those same resiny, earthy notes lingering thru the finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a firm crispness for effervescence from start to finish. Overall, a steadfast West Coast IPA that delivers in all aspects. There are no frills or thrills with this one, delivering consistent WC IPA notes throughout.
