Pours a golden yellow with a very light haze to the transparency, but is otherwise mostly clear. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, orange zest, and mild earthy hops, with biscuity, bready, and earthy malts underneath. Lovely expressive, but quick aroma. Flavor profile is orange zest, papaya, tangerine, and grapefruit. It's a ripe tropical fruit bomb out front, with a dry finish. That dry finish is aided by exposed bready and biscuity malts. It's dry enough that it refrains from developing a finishing bite. As the malts fade out, late floral hops add a final change of elevation to the flavor profile. Mouth feel is crisp with a fuzzy texture around the edges. Thickness is medium. Overall, a really refreshing west coast IPA that manages to pop tropical fruits right off the front, before developing a clean, dry finish. It would make an excellent crusher on the disc golf course, with enough playfulness to be at-home in a koozie around a campfire.
