Pours a pale orange-yellow with two fingers of white foam. Transparency is dull due to a turbid, opaque appearance. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, guava, and orange zest, with a little sticky, grassy, and resiny rindy hop notes behind. Plump pop of tropical fruit that dominates from start to finish though. Flavor profile is grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon, and melon dew. The latter is a bit of a change up from the nose, but helps balance out the tropical fruits even further. Little grassy and resiny hop notes find their way into the final third of the flavor profile. Splendidly smooth, but not juicy. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a still effervescence that carries a mild silt. Overall, solid, but lacking some of the depth or panache of other NE IPAs in their lineup.
