Pours a pale yellow with a foggy haze to the translucency. Head is two fingers of dense foam. Aroma is biscuits, wafers, and lemon zest, with lemon grass, and melon dew arriving as the beer warms slightly. It's faint, not potent, but certainly refreshing. Flavor profile is biscuits, wafers, and mild nutty malts with lemon zest and lemon grass just behind. Melon dew comes online at the mid-point and sticks through to the finish, with rindy orange arriving at the finish. Mouth feel is crispy with a medium-thin consistency. It has a chalky texture at the finish. Overall, a crisp and refreshing ale that mingles malt notes in a delicate pattern that is unique from other summer crushers (which tend to be lagers, at least in the States.)
