Pours a pale orange with an opaque translucency. Head is a finger of white foam. Aroma is dense tropical fruits, hitting papaya, tangerine, guava, and passion fruit along the way. Just absolutely ripe with island fruit qualities. Doughy malts and fruity yeast are present too, but the storyline is the hops. Flavor profile is papaya, tangerine, guava, nectarine, and passion fruit. It's wowzas big, oozing hops from the seams. Dough malts are present, but light in strength due to the overwhelming nature of the hops. Some residual hop burn at the back, which seems to stem more from hop quantity. Mouth feel is thick with a velvety texture. A comfort blanket for the tongue. Overall, just an absolutely huge, ripe IPA. Tropical fruits are reminiscent of sipping a Mai-Tai or something on a tropical island beach.
