(review from October 2022) See previous reviews of various versions of Counterculture. This iteration slightly less aromatic/citrusy/juicy due to the different hops with a more floral, subtle flavor&really light, quick-fading finish.Very quaffable&disappears astonishingly fast&easy

Pours an opaque pale orange with two fingers of fluffy white foam. Aroma is grapefruit, rindy tangerine, and mango. There are hints of herbal and grass, but they're minor compared to the tropical fruits. Balance is neutral, never dipping into sugary sweet. Flavor profile brings a little more juicy sweetness to the forefront, squeezing grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and orange zest over the tongue each sip. Again, hits of herbal and resin come thru, but in fragments, as a supporting role for the forward tropical fruit notes. Yeast is slightly spicy. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a plush, creamy texture. Overall, refreshing with just a squeeze of rindy hops to bring the tropical fruits into balance. Easy drinking, with plenty going on.
