16oz can with no date. Bought at the brewery in October. Opened 11-12-22.
2+ finger head rising over the rim of the glass with amazing retention. Orange-gold body and fully opaque. Tons of lacing. Sweet orange and pineapple in the nose. Big ripe citrus flavor followed by a zesty orange peel bitterness. Full body, smooth mouthfeel and a moderate level of bitterness in a fruit filled, slightly sweet finish. Very Good.

Pours orange with a heavy haze to the transparency that creates a soft glowing orange fireball. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is rich and full tropical fruits - papaya, tangerine, guava, orange zest, and peach. It's rich, full of tropical fruits and mild sweetness from start to finish. Fruity yeast adds a layer of strawberry beneath the tropical fruit hops, helping to establish that rich sweetness. A very fine, faint, rindy grassy comes on right at the break of the finish, creating a flash of contrast right at the close. Flavor profile is papaya, tangerine, orange zest, mango, peach, and strawberry. Fruity yeast is present, but much more obscured by the density of the hops. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a soft effervescence. Overall, a really fun NE IPA that packs in a lot of wonderful tropical fruits alongside less conventional peach and strawberry notes.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can.
