Sapphire Clouds
BKS Artisan Ales

Pours a pale orange with an opaque translucency. Head is a finger of white foam with quick dissipation. Aroma is apricot, mango, tangerine, and guava. It's dense tropical fruits from front to back. Mild biscuity and faint earthy malts form a little foundation, but otherwise let the hops sing out front. Flavor profile is tropical fruit dominate again, hitting notes of tangerine, guava, and mango. It's even more sharp and pointed on tropical fruits in the flavor profile than the aroma, but not to the point of harshness. Biscuits malts are faint, and the only display of malt in this beer. Some late hop burn interrupts the sweet finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a fuzzy, neppy texture. Overall, consistent and tropical fruits throughout. Slightly more to it than typical Clouds.
