Pours an opaque orange with three fingers of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is heavy tropical fruit (papaya, mango, tangerine, and orange zest) with mild hits of grassy and resiny. Fruity yeast adds a punctual finish. It doesn't linger, tagging each note and moving along. Flavor profile brings the same juicy profile, delivering mango, tangerine, guava, melon dew, orange rind, and mild green and grassy hop notes at the back. Fruity yeast is present, but more muffled from the noise of the hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft, creamy texture. Overall, a potent NE DIPA. Great tropical fruit hop notes. As a bonus, this was made for the Chiefs playing in the Super Bowl and they won. Tastes a little like victory.
