(review from January 2024) Another solid 2x NE DD from BKS, this one with the same good balance/mouthfeel; thick haze; nice aroma & hoppy/bitter bite but with a big earthy/grainy/grassy/kinda-dirt-eatin flavor and lingering aftertaste. Still a smooth fooler of an 8.5%er & quaffable but not my favorite DD version.

Pours a yellow-orange with an opaque translucency. Head is three fingers of white foam. Aroma is papaya, tangerine, orange, and guava. It's dense tropical fruits. Flavor profile is even more dense, stacking guava, tangerine, orange, mango, melon, and mild grassy hops. It's tropical fruits throughout. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a mild creaminess. Overall, tropical fruit dense and smooth throughout.

Served from a 16oz can. Reviewed from notes.
