(review from September 2023) Exceptionally well balanced 2x NE kinda-sorta ipa w/thick haze; big hoppy/bitter bite; good mouthfeel & a citrusy/grapefruity/slightly floral & resiny flavor & aftertaste. Smooth fooler of an 8.5%er that's very dangerously quaffable & sneaks up on you!

Pours a completely opaque yellow-orange with three fingers of fluffy white foam. Aroma is thick mango, papaya, and guava. It's heavy tropical fruits throughout. Semi-sweet with a little sticky hoppiness behind. Spicy yeast adds some zest. Flavor profile is mango, tangerine, guava, and papaya. Somehow, the taste bolsters even more tropical fruits than the aroma foreshadows. Semi sweet overall with some very late green hop burn, but it's minor. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a soft, velvety texture. Overall, this is a delight to sip. It's hefty for the ABV, but full of juicy tropical fruits.
