(review from December 2023) See initial review of Pine Tree 23 and add a really funky, hard-to-pin-down, not-exactly-my-pint-of-ale flavor (what IS that?). Still a good NE kinda ipa w/nice mouthfeel; thick haze; medium hoppiness & a citrusy/piney/earthy/dirty/what IS that? flavor & smooth for a 7%er but with a sharp, lingering, what-IS-that aftertaste?!?

Pours orange with an opaque translucency. Head is three fingers of snow-white foam with great retention. Aroma is grapefruit, papaya, orange zest, and (light) red berry. It's soft, with some doughy malts behind. Aroma leans sweet. Flavor profile is papaya, orange zest, tangerine, grapefruit, and minor red berry. It has plump sweetness without being over the top. Mouthfeel is medium thickness. Texture is frothy, creamy, and cozy. Overall, really well done with some good hop notes and quality.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can. Reviewed from notes.
