(review from May 2024) Exceptionally smooth fooler of an 8.5%er with good balance/mouthfeel; nice hoppiness and a subtle, light citrusy/pineyish flavor and a clean, quick-fading aftertaste. Very dangerously quaffable.

 

Pours yellow with a mild fog to the translucency. Head is two fingers of dense, white foam - good retention. Aroma is herbal, grass, and pine hops with bready and earthy malts for support. Flavor profile is grass and herbal hops and biscuity, bready, and earthy malts. It leans towards dry at the end. A little bit bigger in taste than the average WC IPA. Solid West Coast IPA with some IBU bite right at the close. Mouth feel is crisp, softening right around the edges. Thickness is medium-thin. Overall, nice bitter bite with a pop of herbal, grass, and pine hops.
