BKS Artisan Ales

Pours a moderately dull shaded orange with heavy opaqueness to the transparency. Head is three fingers of fluffy white foam. Good head retention. Aroma is thick tropical fruit hop notes - papaya, tangerine, guava, mango, and a little melon dew. Orange zest opens the door for some late green hop stickiness and residue. Flavor profile carries on the same tune of the hops, smashing notes of papaya, tangerine, and guava in the choruses and ripping notes of orange zest and mango in the versus. Together, it makes for a reverberant, mighty flavor profile. Some late green hop zest dampens some of the initial tropical fruit hop sweetness. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a fine crispy silt to the texture. Overall, a potent and powerful IPA with loads of hop play, and heavy on the tropical fruits.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can.
