16oz can. No dating information found.
Clear for body clarity, pale gold for body color. Two fingers of white head quickly collapses to a fizzy cap and high ring. Leaves behind some short lacing strings.
Aroma has a toasted malt base but the main smells are tropical and citrus fruits from the hops. Grapefruit, pineapple, and some pine.
Taste is quite vibrant, with flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, pine resin, and a definite note of mint and a touch of onion. Bitterness throughout but expands late. The aftertaste tones down the hops and revels in the toasted malt base.
Medium mouthfeel. Has a dry finish. Sappy from the pine. Good carbonation.
Fits in the style realm of a West Coast IPA, without being a palate wrecker. 7%ABV is hidden.

Pours a copper-yellow with a transparent clarity. Head is two fingers of white foam with decent retention. Aroma is slight tropical fruits with fragments of grassy, herbal, and spicy hops. Faint bready and doughy malts. Flavor profile is tropical fruits sandwiched between bits and pieces of spicy, grassy, and herbal hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is semi-soft with a light effervescence. Overall, it's right down the middle. An inoffensive, easy sipper with lots to admire.
Poured in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can. Reviewed from notes.
