Pours black with no head. Thick oil on top. Aroma is molasses, toasty and roasty. Thick barrel works alongside char and sharp spice to add density and mass to the aroma. Fudge and dark fruits, plum come on later. It smells awesome. Flavor profile is toasty and roasty malts. Thick barrel with a swell of rye whiskey. Fudge and dark fruits, with a little more emphasis on the latter when drank cooler and more fudge when the glass warms a bit. Mouth feel is thick and filling with a light velvety texture. Overall, really incredible, killer stout with great addition via the rye whiskey barrel.
