Appearance: Pours a dark copper in color with reddish hue. 1 finger tan head with little retention.
Smell: Very malty, fruity strawberries.
Taste: Balanced maltiness, sweet yet clean. Some mild fruitiness and Munich malt flavors.

Drinkability: Good. This is a tasty beer. I did not find it to be to style but a nice clean fruity drinking beer.

This was the second NCAA victory bomber I tried...complements of bditty187 and BlueMooner.
The beer was copper colored with a quarter inch white head. Head didn't stay long, but a film remained atop the beer that somewhat laced down the sides of the glass. Towards the end of the session, color was nearly orange.
Smell was malt...nearly all malt. Very typical of the alt style, although this is only the second one I've had.
Taste was malty, with a linger bitterness. Tartness was present in the initial taste, and there was a slight hop spiciness in the aftertaste. It was Oktoberfest-like in taste.
Very smooth beer that's medium bodied. Carbonation was medium, and the feel of the head was airy, but not creamy...
The bomber, was gone quickly, and I wished I could have another.
Overall impression: It's from Nebraska, and it would have been a better beer had the Nittany Lions and Huskers shared the nat'l title in '94.

I got this one in a bomber straight from the brewery. Took it home and poured it. It was a coppery color with a slight haze. A nice looking beer, but not much head on it.
The taste is malt, but with a sneeky bitterness under a lot of sweet, especially in the aftertaste.
Not much smell. What i did get was mostly malt and a little fruityness. There was also a sharp sherry like maltyness in the smell. What was there was appealing.
Mouthfeel good and smooth.
All around decent beer.

Tawny-brown hue, the beige head was served about ¼ inch, it had good retention. Laced well. The nose is limited, softly malty with pleasant kisses of orange zest, fruity. The invitation does not lie; the palate is much louder than the bouquet indicated. Very tasty with surprising orange and citrus influences that cuts the malt nicely
tremendously balanced and rather unique. Ideal carbonation, medium-light mouthfeel, somewhat thin
the carbonation mingles perfectly with the citrus notes at the finish. Damn tasty! Malty aftertaste. Very good stuff
somewhat odd and untrue to style nevertheless Id gladly drink it again!
