Black with a thick pour. Little head and a clinging ring around the glass.

There are lots of roasted coffee with a residual sweetness hidden in the back. The sweetness seems to land on the throat, right before a hoppy aftertaste.

This is a solid stout with a nice balance of hops and burnt malts. It is blunt and boisterous but with some nice subtleties.

Another hard to find gem courtesy of bditty187..

Pours jet black with a nice chocolate looking head that settles to a cola looking appearance...a lot of java and even a hint of vanilla (nice) on the nose....Body is nice and firm...taste is big on the java and dark unsweetened cocoa....a nice dry finish...some burnt malts contribute but also a nice mixture of hops add to it...almost too dry on the finish (but as it warms it seems to finish about right)..

No question about it...this is a dry stout all the way...much tastier than Guiness....I'm impressed....this is a very small brewery with limited distribution so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this is a legit, solid dry stout that is quite enjoyable..

Black. Opaque. Served with a beige head, fair retention, fades to a wispy soapiness, no lace was produced. Looks nice in my glass. A hard sniff produces a roasted maltiness bouquet. Pleasant. The palate is very tasty, plenty of roasted malt, coffee flavors, a distant hint of dry chocolate. There is a strong hops influence for balance… and assertiveness. Perfectly bitter. This is a damn good stout. Medium-full body with firm carbonation… a healthy, smooth mouthfeel (aided by the oats added?). Extremely enjoyable to drink… it is very “stout.” I was very impressed with this offering… I recommend it.
