Serving Type Sampled: On tap at Platte Valley Brewing Co. in Kearney, Nebraska.
Appearance: Deep amber in color, slight wheat protein haze. Fluffy 1½ finger head that quickly fades to a light lace.
Smell: This aspect has been slightly tainted. The bartender immediately slammed and orange twist in my brew but I quickly removed it. I smelled light wheat malt, some citrusy hops and of coarse the orange.
Taste: This wheat is very fruity, not like and ester fruity but like a brewed with fruity. I taste some apple and orange, this time I dont think it was from the one that was force feed to my beer. I also taste a slight wheat bite. The hops are light but apparent. Very citrusy which also complements the rest for the fruit flavor.
Mouthfeel: Light in body. This is probably the worst aspect of this beer. It is just very thin. Carbonation is mild and perfect.
Drinkability: Average, I really loved everything about this beer except the mouthfeel. If it just had a little more body this would be a great session beer.
