This hazy brew is a New England style IPA named after our scooter-riding friend who taught us how to brew many moons ago. Ruckus has power, yes, with hefty alcohol and hoppy horsepower from Citra and Mosaic hops, but the ride is super smooth, balanced with sweet goodness from Golden Promise malt. Grab a glass and take a comfy cruise on this juicy, malty beercycle.

Hazy honey colour with thick white cap. Tropical nose with notes of very ripe papaya, mango and peach. Sweet malt with some citrus and grapefruit pith. Powerful hop finish with lasting pine bitterness.

Tastes like a NE IPA. I think they got it pretty close. I've tasted much worse.

Hazy gold with a thick, soapy head. Inviting, sweet citrus hop nose. Medium malt body with the fresh Citra & Mosaic hops in the forefront. Juicy, inviting another sip.

Slightly hazy dark straw color with moderate activity. Light foamy 1-2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with generous legs and decent swirl reaction. Flavors of grapefruits, pineapples, lemon, caramel, butter, sweet barley, and herbal hops (citra+mosaic). Light slick and oily medium body with crispy carbonation. Strong strength finish, tropical and a bit juicy, mostly bitter and piney but also citrusy. Tongue coating but with some decent balance similar to a minty feel. New England style IPA, kinda leafy too. The texture is lacking some roundness, though the freshness is alright. Overall good quality craft.

Bottle shared with Brian from his BIF trade. Yes some hops thrown together here. Not unfresh, but not too interesting, though quaffable because of some hop flavour.

L- Pours a nice coppery orange colour topped by a 1/2 finger white head. Half-decent retention with light lacing.
S- Lots of grapefruit on the nose and that's about it.
T- Tropical fruit with a nice Grapefruit slightly bitter finish.
F- Medium body with low-moderate carbonation.
O- Nothing spectacular but Ruckus is a very solid New England style IPA.
