First had: on tap at their brewpub
An imperial red ale. This beer poured a cloudy reddish brown with no head whatsoever. Aroma was light, a decent balance of malts and hops...nothing really distinctive. Taste was malty sweet up front, piney hops coming in mid-palate, followed by sweet tones of cherry and peach, with a strong caramel base. Very nice. Medium-bodied, chewy, and very drinkable overall. Probably my favorite from this brewery.
