On tap at Belmont Station. A jalapeno IPA? Habanero Sculpin blew, let's see how this is.
A clear light yellow with a thin, white head. The nose is dominated by jalapenos. Seriously peppery with a mild bell pepper aroma. No malt but the hops are hidden too. Maybe vaguely fruity?
The palate opens with a big, spicy bite, fruity and fleshy blend of fresh and roasted jalapenos. Fruity, floral peppers, green bell peppers. Mild mango flavor as well. No malt character. Drying, spicy finish.Surprisingly Decent.
