On draft, in nonic pint glass
Jet black, khaki colored head. Nice bittersweet aroma - dark cocoa, some molasses and licorice. Similar taste, good balance of sweetness and roast flavor. Medium bodied.

Taster at taproom. Beautiful looking pour, small creamy head. Nice roasty, smoky aroma. Taste is also spot on, burnt toast, roast grains, just burnt enough. Smooth and dry

Pint poured from a 32 oz growler purchased from Westside Tap House in West Salem OR. $6 Blackest of black body with a gorgeous frothy and thick tan head. Nice looking beer. Sweet cocoa, coffee and nutty flavors. Taste similar but with a bit of creamy lactose and weak licorice. Great thick mouth feel..very luxuriant. Nice stout.
