Poured from a crowler thanks to The Growler Guys. I always have to try a new to me IPA from Barley Browns. I don’t know how widely they distribute, but if you like IPAs and you see any of their offerings I encourage you to give them a go. This one is is a hazy, pineapple colored, tropical fruit and piney glass of perfection. The hoppiness hits at the end for me and kind of subdued, in a good way. Oh and the mouth feel being a double is pretty awesome too.

Opaque orange, creamy white head, good lacing
Tropical fruits galore, especially pineapple.
A smorgasbord of fruits with an insane dank and pine finish.
This thing is insane. It's the ultimate creamy and smooth followed by the most intense bitter I've ever had. Wow.
First sip, I was afraid I made a mistake. Second sip, I was sold. Wanna crazy IPA, try this on for size. Cheers.

Taster at BB taproom. Hazy golden body, soft bubbly head. Dank, musty citrus aroma. Taste too is earthy and musty, pineapple. Nice tingly palate. Dank NEIPA, is that a thing?

A new, hazy DIPA from Barley Brown? Yes please! On tap at Belmont station today.
The beer pours a somewhat hazy light amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, there is considerable tropical fruit, with light pine and dank weed as well. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, though the amount of sweet, tropical fruit in this beer is just amazing. There's a bit of bitterness in the finish which helps buoy and counter the sweetness, though honestly, a tad more bitterness wouldn't be a bad thing. Mouthfeel is medium bodied at most, and the alcohol level is extremely well integrated into the flavor profile. This beer hides its 8.5% alcohol very, very well. This beer is dangerously drinkable, and was a huge hit at Belmont Station today (I sat at the bar for almost two hours, and it was easily the most sought after and ordered beer while I was there).
Another excellent DIPA from Barley Brown. If you see this on any tap list, order it immediately.
