On tap at Barley Brown's 8.25.2010.
Finger and a half white head, slow dissipation with significant lacing. Deep gold clear body, multiple trails of carbonation rising from the bottom of shaker pint glass. Tropical fruits dominate the nose, mango, with Juicy Fruit, not bubblegum, notes, and a fairly clean and light malt bill. Taste reflects the nose, with enough resiny hops to provide enough bitterness on the back end to remind you that you are in Hop Lover's Heaven in Baker City. Medium Full mouthfeel with excellent effervescence. Really really drinkable, even more so than the vaunted WFO, no hop fatigue, nicely balanced. Another excellent IPA from the King of Hops, the Pope of Baker City, one of America's best brewmasters, Shawn Kelso. Can't wait to have this again. Very highly recommended.
