Draft at Brewers Haven. Clear golden, thin white head, rings of lacing. Aroma is a balanced malt and hop profile. Hops uptick in the taste, classic IPA hoppiness, bready malt backbone

yet another exceptional ipa from these guys, always happy to see new ones, which dont come around all the time. this one is pretty clear and honey colored with a frothy inch and a half of white head from the tap, a nice shine, and a cool nose. it features mckenzie hops, a varietal i recall from some jester king stuff i think, but is not one of the more common varietals to say the least. it hits floral up front to me with some dandelion character where its fresh and blooming but also a little herbal and bitter, earthy to me and with some sweeter grain in support and propping it up, later on i get subtle coconut, raw honey, and tangerine, pretty dynamic if this is a single hop beer, not sure if it is. the flavor is as good as the nose, freshness is obvious and the uniqueness of the hop profile stands out, subtle melon and kiwi and white grape now, still floral and there is a white tea and jasmine thing happening, some back end sweetness from the malt beefs the whole thing up a little bit, but this is in excellent balance and the fermentation is clean. i like the body and the softness this has on the palate, the carbonation is there, and the hops have oils that linger with notes of white cranberry, sweet orange, and spicy indica flower. tasty ipa, long on the palate but still real drinkable. good to see a new one come in from them, delicious!

On-tap at Gernika, pours gold with a mild haze, hits with a balanced, new-school WC intensity, smooth pils/pale malt profile balances a citrusy and fruity hop profile with notes of grapefruit juice and pine.
