So they serve this beer at my favourite burger place and maybe it's meant to be sipped by it self, but it just doesn't compliment burger and fries. It tastes to close to scotch.

Draft at Growler Guys. Dark, clear amber, small ring of beige head. Toasty malt aroma, caramel. Taste is more of the sweet malts, caramel, toffee. Smooth and buttery.

Clear orange color with one half inch of white head that drops quickly.
Smell is bread and caramel malts with a touch of herbal hops.
Taste is bread and caramel malts with a nice amount of hop bitterness as the malt sweetness fades.
Mouthfeel is slick and slightly under carbonated. Light body.
Overall a fairly average American Amber ale. I expected more from this brewer.

on-tap @ Belmont Station.
served in pint glass.
from notes.
Clear amber red with a foamy off white head. Leaves a thin film across the surface, and light lacing.
Malty, lightly sweet bready notes, faint floral hop backing.
Medium body, foamy, lightly scrubbing carbonation.
Nothing too complex, just a tasty, easy drinking red ale.
