Presentation: Draft, served in a tulip glass.
Appearance: It develops a one finger, white, foamy head that goes away quickly
but leaves behind some good lacing. Its a very light yellow, crystal clear color.
Smell: Not that aromatic. It has mostly grain and wheat on the nose with a slight
hint of coconut.
Taste: Big, bold coconut flavor with a solid wheaty backbone and a hint of
yeast towards the end.
Mouthfeel: Light, smooth and very refreshing with medium carbonation.
Overall: Didn't know what to expect out of a coconut hefeweizen but the peculiar
looks and great taste with the coconut boldness were a pleasant susprise. It just
works. This small brewery from Coamo, Puerto Rico just keeps churning out quality
release after quality release and this is no exception.
