Presentation: Draft, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The one finger head goes away pretty quickly and leaves behind a lot of thick, patchy lacing. It's a hazy, dull, light orange-gold color.
Smell: Strong, citrus and hop aromas of grapefruit, orange and lemon peels dominate the nose. There's a small, musky, pine resin note in the background.
Taste: It's fruity and a little bit sweet at first but the strong hoppy bitterness shows up halfway through. There's grapefruit, orange and a slight hint of zest with a faint musky note and some alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth, slightly creamy and medium bodied with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: A grapefruit and hop explosion. The strong citrus fruit are there and the fruity, musky hops as well. Hopheads will love it but for those not accustomed to the sharp bitterness and high ABV, it's better to go with a smaller pour.
