It’s a beautiful, hazy day in our neighborhood when King Friday’s on tap. Mister Rogers created King Friday XIII to reverse the negative mojo associated with the infamous date and we channeled the same positive energy when we chose Friday, October 13 as our opening day. This IPA is a reminder to always view our glass as half-full.

Canned 7/17/18
Pours a decent foamy bubbly 1.5 finger head that fades at a med pace, a bit of foamy lacing, very hazy orange juice color
Nose is very light, a little tropical faint grapefruit and citrus, little candied stone fruit, somewhat like aged hops, a touch floral, candy sweet malt notes
Taste mild malt, toasted grainy malt, some honey and sweet candy flavors, hops are again muted, a little grapefruit and citrus, a touch of generic tropical with pineapple and a flash of mango, mild candied stone fruit again, pretty light, very little bitterness, a bit soft creamy
Mouth is med bod decent soft creamy feel, decent carb
Overall def should have tried this fresher, so I'll have to give it another shot sometime, but it was really underwhelming

Finally something Hazy and Delicious from these guys. Well done NE IPA. Easily my favorite beer from them and compares favorably to my go-to readily available NE IPA, Cats Meow.
