Ummm, I believe I was promised unicorns? You know, the ones surrounded with pastel rainbows and neon lasers? (No wings though…that’s technically a Pegasus). This hazy and juicy IPA was brewed with Pilsner malt, white wheat and flaked oats, and generous amounts of Ekuanot, Mosaic, Motueka and Sabro.
Anyway, I was promised unicorns, so if I’m going to drink this delicious IPA, I better get some freaking unicorns out of it.

Cloudy, dirty gold color. Good initial head which slowly becomes film on the surface. Some minor streaks for lace on the glass.
Strong weedy aroma. A bit of dried pine with only a modicum of pale malt in the background.
Better malt presence on the taste with a definitive sweetness. Smooth body but not very rich. Lower carbonation. The hop cuts the sweetness but never dominates. Relatively short aftertaste for an IPA.
