Fresh can from the brewery - canned on July 26/21 - consumed August 9/21.
Pours like straight up bright orangey pineapple juice with frothy off white head.
Aroma is a tropical fruit bomb of pineapple, mango, and ripe orange with a hint of dankness.
Initial taste is a juicy pineapple, citrus, mango, a touch of pine - sweet, creamy note of the lactose that on swallow gives way to an astringent, almost chalky aspirin like bitterness.
Medium full mouthfeel with decent carbonation but the lingering astringent bitterness, an effect I seem to get from a number of hazy IPAs, is a detractor.
