On tap at Beertown Oakville. Served into a 14oz pint glass. Beer is apparently double dry hopped and a New England IPA with 55 IBU's.
Appearance - Mildly hazy rich golden color, Two fingers of white head rest on top. Spotty lacing and average head retention.
Smell - Cantaloupe and lychee with some grapefruit pith and possibly a smidgen of lemon.
Taste - LIke the nose but with some leafy hops added in as well. Fairly bitter and less sweet than most in the style. A touch peppery to close.
Mouthfeel - Spritzy with assertive carbonation. Medium bodied and a dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good IPA but maybe too green. Needs to mellow out just a bit more and may have scored a bit higher in this reviewer's eyes.
