A traditional light brown Bitter, the F.A.B 49 SQN Bitter is a bittersweet well balanced tasting beer of malt, fruit and citrus hop flavours.

Cask at Wig and Mitre, Lincoln, December 2022. Copper. Creamy off white head. Aroma toffee and dried fruit and whole wheat bread- lovely. Taste wonderful caramelized bread sweetness with dried fruit and zesty tea like bitterness. Feel lively but touch of oiliness. Outstanding. A balanced, complex, yet very easy drinking bitter. One of my new favourites. This is listed on Beeradvocate as retired but it definitely is not at this time.
