A “hybrid pale ale” at the brewery, though it doesn’t say a hybrid of what. Has that NE opaqueness, so could fit into a lower ABV NE IPA category.
As mentioned, an opaque beer, but it’s white ale straw yellow color doesn’t look thick and any particles stay out of sight. Head is moderate but lacing is pretty good given the relatively thin ring that is feeding it.
Nose of lemongrass, cereal and crusty bread malt, with floral and herbal hops notes all combining nicely.
A little watery up front, but the hops start to cone on before the beer is midway across my tongue. Lemongrass, tangerine and lemon peel, then some edible flower and a bit of coconut (similar to Sorachi Ace, though the beerkeep indicates it might be the batch of Amarillo). Little more citrus, including some grapefruit in back, ending and lingering with a citrus pith melange,
Pretty clean profile that lets the hops lead the way. I’m a sucker for that lemongrass/coconut-ty flavor I get from the aforementioned hops (regardless of what adds it to this beer).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
