From the growler via Country Fresh in Beechmont. This solid stout pours
a nice blackish brown and displays a nice thick light brown head of foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin subtle pool, and shows off some nice soapy lacing.
Nose of dark coffee, dark bitter chocolate, and mild char notes. Flavors follow the
nose perfectly with a char laced dark cocoa flavor rounded out firmly with coffee
and a touch of caramel malts that are heavily roasted. Nice mouth feel; full body,
medium light carbonation, and a rich char laden finish that ends lightly dry.
A solid first brew for me from this new brewery.
