From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This most excellent stout pours
a rugged blackish brown with a nice head of off white khaki colored foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin light pool, and showcases some nice light lacing. Nose of heavy duty
Seven Hills Coffee (Irish cream coffee to be precise), subtle char, subtle cream, and deep
roast on the malts with chocolate notes mingling in nicely. Flavors nail the nose with exceptional
rich waves of deep coffee without the ground note like many coffee infused stouts with moderate
char and lightly bitter dark bakers chocolate touched with a hint of cream. Perfect mouth feel
with a lightly slick full body, light carbonation, and a rich, full, coffee infused finish complemented
by chocolate. Better than the original Jazz Stout, this one packs in the flavor. Gotta visit this
brewery which is just down the street from where I work!
Cheers
