Weisser Time is a classic Hefeweizen brewed with German malts and hops. It has the taste and aroma that reminds us of those simpler and Weisser Times.

12oz can, painted label. No dating information found.
Partly cloudy, straw colored body. Two fingers of white head with the pour, and this settles back to a thin cap and higher ring. Leaves behind spots and short strings of lacing.
Aroma of tangy wheat malt, with minor notes of banana and cloves.
Taste is tangy from the wheat malt, and a little sweet. Flavors of green apple and banana, and the cloves spice comes in late. Quick exit to the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean and crisp finish, very thirst quenching. Very good carbonation.
Easy to drink, and satisfying. Yeast esters are minor characters here, but can be searched for and found.

Purchased in a 12 oz can from Central Market in Southlake Texas.
Poured into a chalice in Oklahoma.
Very attractive slightly hazy golden liquid with a very large white head. The aroma is of citrus and bananas. Flavor is spot on for the style definitely lots of banana and citrus maybe some grapefruit and orange. Nice amount of spices maybe even a touch of black pepper.
Nice and full mouth feel with some acidic prickle on the tongue.
I like this one so far I have been very impressed with all of the wheat beers from this brewery.
Worth seeking out.
