Poured from a 473ml can.
Golden coloured with a slightly cloudy tinge, with a white head of tight bubbles that stuck around for a bit, then dissipated.
The nose gives up the cereal notes along with some cracker and white bread crust. There's a saline property, not quite briny but mixed with cracker malt, it hints at saltines. At the edges is a bit of bright lemon zest, and a minerality I can't quite put my finger on.
The malts are the first thing you taste, delicately sweet and grainy, nothing too intense. The hop character is mostly there in terms of bitterness, but there are some herby notes in there. The cereal comes rushing back in at the end, just before the finish, re-introducing the cracker from the nose, especially on exhale.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium. The carbonation is moderate in intensity, giving a bit of a pleasant scrubbing, possibly a bit over-carbonated. The finish is on the softer side and dry, but lingers a while afterwards, leaving enough bitterness behind to be quenching.
Overall, a decent Helles. It's got a decent malt character, nicely lagered and has a proper amount of bitterness. Perhaps could use more malt presence throughout, but overall very enjoyable.

Pours a nice clear gold colour with a respectable head. The smell is grainy and sweet. The taste adds some white wine notes with a bit of metallic. Nice carbonation level.
