Beer with Simcoe, Nelson and Doluta hops. On tap at the Brain. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Bright yellowy golden color with lots of haze. A finger plus of brilliant white head. Good staying power and nice curtain style lacing.
Smell - Passionfruit, peach and hints of grape. Robust and aromatic.
Taste - Intense citrus with some peach and a sprinkling of grape. Passionfruit and hints of pineapple are the citrus culprits. Fairly bitter overall with a soft and semi-sweet finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied with medium carbonation. Fairly soft and pillowy texture. Drying finish, but retains juiciness throughout.
Overall - Well brewed and exciting IPA. Lots of flavor and a good hop combo.
