On tap at Fort Orange Brewing in Albany, NY.
This one pours a medium brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing. The sort of watery-looking brown color is not getting me excited for this porter.
This smells lightly of suntan-esque lotion, with watery roast and not much else.
This is a bit of a swing and a miss, unfortunately. There's very little coconut, and what is there feels artificial and watery. The base porter itself is also nothing really to write home about, as it's thin, watery, and insipid, with not much roast or chocolate character.
This is thin, very light bodied, with none of the creaminess I'd want from this style.
It's gotta be back to the drawing board with this one - it feels homebrew-esque.
