Keg @ Small Bar, Bristol - Pours dark brown/black with a medium tanned foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - Sweet, coconut, vanilla, lactose, light dark roasted malts. Taste- Sweet, lactose, coconut, light roasted coffee at the back, medium sweet bitter finish. Solid enough if a little sweet for my tastes.

Schooner from Shilling Brewing Co., Glasgow (£5.30):
Quite a smooth & sweet beer with plenty of coconut coming through initially & some nice touches of vanilla sweetness to back it up. The beer was creamy & balanced with some nice malts & chocolates coming through & a touch of coffee bitterness a little further on to keep things interesting. It definitely wasn't an overpowering beer on the palate but it wasn't weak either with some nice malts & sugars seeing things out quite nicely.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
