Copenhagen 29/12 2024. 44 cl can from Beershoppen webshop. Black can with a metallic Dragon probably feeling abandoned..
Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head, Stable. Settles as a several centimeter thick layer of foam covering the surfface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sugary sweet, malt odor mingling with a more subdued scent of sour milk. Sweet dark malts, brown sugar, milk chocolate. syrup and honey. Dark alcohol and wood. Touch of nuts.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, a bit sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness, Aftertaste is bitter with a sugary undertone. Lingering. Finish is Sweet and boozy.
Potent with a touch of pastry - without being overly sweet.
