Frederiksberg 20/11 2024. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty and a bit earthy odor. Dark roasted malts, linoleum and black coffee. Toffee and hint of leather.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and a little thin.
Superb nose but a little thin.
