Designed for aging; Tarmac is a Bourbon Barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout that weighs in at 11.5%. We bottled Tarmac in 22 OZ bottles to ensure maximum aging potential. This beer is a beast, but its also smooth and enjoyable. Oak aged on Four Roses Bourbon barrels. Grab a few and cellar for 5 or more years!

Good head production and retention.

Very strong and roasty aroma. Notes of char, molasses, espresso, burnt toast, leather, red grape, and bourbon.

Just as strong and bitter on the palate; tremendously roasty. Notes of blackstrap molasses, pepper, pumpernickel, toast, char, oak, leather, bitter 100% dark cacao. Not a ton of influence from the bourbon, but that's more a testament to the strength of the malt base.

Full bodied. Drinks more like the 9-10% ABV range - very much like Old Rasputin.
