I really like this beer. It is low ABV but it isn't watery or lacking taste. Very dark, nutty malts. There is a slightly burnt finish to this beer but I like it. Not too oily, a little chocolatey, nutty, dark roasted malts. The head retention is good, the nose hangs around for a good long while. It has a bit of a sharp, drying bite in the finish, a tiny bit acidic which made me drop the points a bit, but you wouldn't know this was so low an ABV. It has quite a bit of character and I would buy it again.

No can date
Pours a medium darker fizzy bubbly head, med-low retention, little lacing, very dark brown almost black color
Nose like an Irish dry stout, some toasty malts, little coffee, hint of cocoa, dried oats or maybe lactose creamy notes, little more chocolate as it warms
Taste more roasty malt, little toasted grain, roasted coffee and little cocoa, touch of baked spices, more chocolate as it warms, little creamy oat notes, med to lighter bitterness mostly from the roasted malt, but smooth, dry finish, lingering roast and light cocoa
Mouth is med bod, a bit creamy like, medium lighter carb, ok for an English style
Overall solid stout, very dry Irish stout like, a bit English porter but less English if anything, however nice tasty beer
