Pours a smaller fizzy off white head with med retention, little lacing, dark semi clear ruby to mahogany color
Nose toasted brown malts touch of roast and chocolate, coffee, more sweet chocolate and little cocoa, little biscuit wafer cookie
Taste brings dark malt with a little roast, coffee, more chocolate and toasted brown malt with biscuity wafer cookie light bitter earthy hop, dry finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med to lighter frothy carb
Overall a solid dark mild, a bit like a schwarzbier but not lagered
