No can date
Pours a foamy frothy 1 finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, clear cranberry to slight ruby red color
Nose semi sweet toasted malty, biscuity toffee and toasted bread crust, sweet bread, little caramel, some malt derived dark fruity esters, little date plum notes, light herbal hop, little sweet caramel toffee blondie-brownie
Taste brings more of the sweet toasted malts, a bit biscuity, with more rich bread crust and sweet bread, candied apple but not syrupy, a little doughy, into more malt-derived esters with some fig date plum, hint of red apple pear kinda pome fruit, a touch nutty, very light herbal hop, light bitterness, some doughy creamy wheat notes, semi sticky sweet finish, touch more bitterness
Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher frothy carb
Overall pretty solid Dunkelweizen, nice fruits and malt characters, hops were maybe a tad light, and would have liked a bit more dryness on the finish, but otherwise nicely done
