The date is September 29, 2025, as this has rotating recipes, it's important to note. Two twelve ounce cans were popped open and readied to be poured into a clear glass liter mug. Immediately, there's a solid IPA aroma of malt and hops in good balance. The pours were paused occasionally because this is a heavily carbonated beer that produced a foamy head. It receded quickly and much more evenly than many of those over-starched hazies. Also, these pours were made at room temperature. The head is just-off-white in color, very slightly tinted by the liquid beneath. That is dark orange-amber in color, almost a brown. It's dull and very opaque for a standard IPA. The taste is surprisingly citrus-like in its hop bit, at least initially. Then it grows a little earthy before leaving dryly piney. Taste transitions like this are good to find, especially if you like a bitter IPA. Although it doesn't quite stand up to the hop bite in taste, the malt adds significant sweetness and sufficient body, although the glass lacing doesn't indicate such. This is a solid American IPA in the traditional sense. It's a little less malty and definitely more bitter with its hop delivery than the standard, but for some, that's a good thing. The 7.4% ABV is a wonderful part of the overall drinking experience, the taste transitions are thoroughly enjoyable and it's nicely earthy underneath the malt and hops. Go ahead, fall into the trap.

Just finished a pint at one of my favorite restaurants. This is a really good IPA. Enough said.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some swirls of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy and tropical fruit hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of citrusy hops - oranges seem to stand out in particular. There are faint hints of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and can be considered sessionable.
Serving type: growler
