i absolutely adored this place, hit it up while passing through here on the recommendation of a local i had met just hours earlier, and i am so glad i did, what a cool operation! this little town of chester is quite quaint, even by new england standards, and this place is in the center of it, quite literally a little house, half tucked into the hill there, front porch and everything, really nice work converting it into a brewery. the front is a cozy living room space with relaxed low seating in the front windows, like little breakfast nooks or something, some high tops running down the side and a two sided right angle bar straight ahead inside on the right wall, really cant be room for more than like 30 people in here, and that would feel slammed, but they have some patio space for when the weather is nice. the brewery is all the way in the back, down a level with the floor cut out to view it, a super cool arrangement and a great use of space, they pack a lot in here in a small footprint. i was especially impressed with the beer list, like a dozen beers on tap, a hard working little brew house to say the least, cant believe they crank all these out in here. creative list too, really inventive stuff, i loved a honey based black kolsch, could drink it every day for the rest of my life, that good, but was also stoked on a smoked maple doppelbock and this weird little chips and dip beer with tequila chips and salt and lime and mango and peppers aged in tequila barrels, so weird but cool. neat to have this many exotic choices in such a small place. everything feels comfortable and nice, the service was friendly and handled a busy crowd rather efficiently. the bar was a great place to post up, its artful and smart in here, a great space. i love this sort of thing, its not just another brewery, its creative and high quality, and it deserves wider recognition than it seems to be getting, i was really stoked on it. not to be missed when you are in the area, worth a drive of even a few hours i would say...

This place is such a gem to have nearby. Absolutely a five star vibe in the old house in downtown Chester. Seating is limited but growing outdoors. This place always has a good selection of non-IPAs as well. Friendly staff. Oh, and their beer is great to.

Small but a very friendly neighborhood feel. Wide range of beer styles. Consistently good quality.

This is basically my local brewery, (less the 0.5 miles). They've been open for about 4 months now and I have been 8-10 times. Honestly, I was worried when they opened. How cool having a brewery that close... but what if the beer sucks? It doesn't and boy do these guys stretch themselves. Although the count of beers on tap varies from only 4 to 7 beers the variety is refreshing. I've personally had their Kolsch, Helles, brown ale, NEPIA, pale ale, coffee porter, imperial stout, Altbier, west coat IPA and they also have had Saisons, Belgian Tripels, and sours. I haven't rated or reviewed any of their beers yet because I'm always wrapped up in the environment and people there. Posted a few WBAYDN pics, but that's it.
The facility is small, like the name suggests. I've been there when its elbow to elbow, but service is still as good as anyone could do in those conditions. Fit, finish and theme in the building are top notch. There is a patio out back with a space heater.
Summary- Good beer, good vibe, sometimes small selection, sometimes overcrowded.

Cozy little brewery in the heart of downtown Chester has a bit of a local's hangout coffee shop vibe. L-shaped bar is a few feet through the front door on the right and seat about 10 or 12. There are a few more tables and counters on the perimeter. Only 4 beers on tap, the 2 I had were very good, and the crowler I had later that evening was very nice. Friendly service.
